The work in the vineyards is monitored by António Sousa , who is a Technical Engineer in Viticulture, of recognized competence. He was a member of the Viticulture Center of Studies in Regua, he has published work in the area of viticulture studies and, on top of it, he is a great friend of Ramozeiros.
In the cellar, we rely on the experience and winemaking knowledge of Paulo J. Teixeira Barros, as a resident technician, who is commited to an ascending career of study, also exchanging knowledge and winemaking practices with other national and international winemakers, who come and visit us or whom he visits, thus being open so as to compare and expand knowledge and experience.
We also count with the competent cooperation of other members of the daily work team, who are in the vineyards and/or the cellar day after day.
The old kitchen of Ramozeiros is a place of great importance. It is part of our project of preservation of the material and cultural legacy at Ramozeiros. The daily cooking of the meals for the family and for all the staff, resident or not, is a must and a pleasure. It is a meaningful part of our fight for sustainability in social terms. We also occasionally sit at the table with our clients and friends, who are always welcome at Ramozeiros.
At Ramozeiros, at times like pruning and harvesting, there is a meaningful rise of the number of the workers implied, whom we appreciate and welcome for their quality work and also because, year after year, they tend to be as a group part of our seasonal staff.
